It's been a while

It's been a while since I last posted (shame on me). Both dogs are doing fine. lily was spayed just before Christmas and is doing well since then (apart from not liking to go to the vets anymore). She is still a bit nervous though with sudden movements and/or noises and I am working hard on this with her. She is getting much better every day though.

Jessie is her usual self, easy going and always willing to go for a cuddle. I will try to update much more in the future

Easter Sunday

We have been out on a nice long walk on easter Sunday. The weather was nice and warm and after breakfast we headed off to Water Gate Park. Both dogs loved it and spend all of their time swimming. We also met Jack (and lot's of other dogs) and it was nice to see them as we have not seen them in ages. I took lot's of pictures but for some reason they didn't save on my phone...

Swimming

I took the girls out last evening and both ended up swimming in the river and had a blast

It's snowing

We have snow for the last two and a half weeks now and the girls and me love it. Jessie is a proper snow dog and loves to be outside all the time and just lay in the snow, where as Lily likes to go in after a while and curl up next to the heater. Here are a couple picures from the girls outside:

At the pont again

We have been back to the pont again today. The weather wasn't as good as yesterday but the girls had fun...

Tomorrow

Tomorrow we will be driving back home to Newcastle. It will be quite a long trip, about 460 miles to Calais first and then about 350 miles up to Newcastle. Both the dogs and me enjoyed the vacation and the time we were able to spend outside. I did some training with both dogs and they now know some more tricks.
Yesterday we've been at a little lake in my village and both dogs went swimming for 45 minutes (unfortunately I didn't have my camera with me). I also managed to finally get Jessie to swim without me being in the water too while we've been here and she just loves it. Here are some more pics from the last couple days.:
