Water Gate Forest Park

On Saturday morning I walked with the girls (Jessie and Katie) to Water Gate Forest Park (it takes about 45 minutes to walk there). The girls were absolutely exited and enjoyed the time a lot. We spend about 3 hours out and when I got back home I had to very wet and tired dogs...

First view of Water Gate Forest

Jessie had to climb on a log

so I tried to pose her for a nice picture

Both Jessie and Katie went crazy when they saw the water, racing up and down the shoreline...

Dummy Training

I did some dummy training with Jessie yesterday. She is very enthusiastic whenever I take the dummy out, bounces around and can't wait to retrieve it. The session was really good and Jessie was very focused, didn't get distracted by other dogs and showed good markings. Her marking has really improved and we had lot's of fun. Afterwards I let her go in the little river where she tolled some ducks and then went back home, after we where both muddy.

I took some pics with my phone and will try to upload them in the next couple days:

Pet Passport

Jessie is now 11 month old and finally I was able to pick up her Pet Passport on Wednesday. We have started the proceedings in June and she had her blood tested on 21.07.2008. Just writing the passport and waiting for the results took ages. Everything went fine though and as of 21/01/2009, Jessie will be allowed to return to the UK.

I am really looking forward taking her to Germany for my Birthday in February and introducing her to my family in Germany.

It's strange you know, before I got her lot's of people offered to look after her if I was to go on holiday but she is so much part of my life, that I refused to go to Germany for holiday this year because I couldn't take her :-)

10 month

I spend the weekend in the nearby park with Jessie. We have done some training and watched the birds, ducks, geese, squirrels and rabbits. Jessie is doing great and is a pleasure to work with. It’s amazing how she actually ignores all the other animals, when she attracts them…
I only took a couple pics with my camera but here they are

Water Gate Forest Park

On the weekend I took the girls out to Water Gate Forest Park, which is only a 5-10 minutes drive away from me. It's a forest area with a lake in the middle and the girlz love it. We had a two hour walk around and a lt of fun, in and outside the water...
